Within the scope of the Integrated Rural Development Program, efforts were made to expand almond production thanks to the demonstration areas established in cooperation with the GAP Regional Development Administration and Kahta District Governorship, and Kahta Nut Producers Association was established. As a result, Kahta ranked first in almond production in Turkey.
